Categoria: Other Works
Beyond dedicated sports disciplines, our research group pioneers the use of Emergent Technologies and Artificial Intelligence to redefine the comprehensive assessment and monitoring of human movement. We focus on developing and validating cutting-edge tools, including Multiprotocol Wireless Sensor Networks and advanced AI-driven pose estimation frameworks for markerless kinematic and dynamic analysis. This versatile approach enables us to monitor and assess performance not only across a wide spectrum of athletic contexts but also in crucial clinical applications, such as tracking physical activity and behavioral profiles in large cohorts, from overweight to severe obesity. This commitment to versatile and precise human movement monitoring forms the foundation of our ‘Other Works,’ providing fundamental insights across multiple engineering and clinical disciplines, which are summarized in our key publications below:
-
Assessing Sports Performances Using an Artificial Intelligence-Driven System.
